Problem Statement

Trimble had built AI models on MAT Lab for driverless cars and wanted the same to be ported to C/C++, integrated with GPUs, and produced as a solution.

Solutions

Understood the existing MATLAB solution and its functionality
Converted to C++ code using MATLAB coder
Ported the application to C/C++ and ported it to NVIDIA GPUs
Performed mathematical/multi-dimensional vector operations optimization
Integrated with CUDA for GPU optimization, CUDA BLAS integration
Performed testing based on the test vectors agreed upon and adhering to validation criteria

Business Impact

Achieved required performance target and released the solution to the client ahead of timelines
This enabled the client to focus on their core development activity and achieve their agreed milestones for optimization
The solution was produced and delivered to Trimble to enable them to launch it in time for driverless car pilot tests
