Problem Statement

A leading OTT Video service (>100 Million users) wanted an enhanced multi-platform playback experience and to replace existing video players. The service also required interactive experiences for a trivia format live gameshow and their live sports broadcast.

Role we Played

Logituit’s Multi-platform Video Player: Existing players are replaced with LogixPlayer, a Multi-platform player. KPI improvement on start-up time, rebuffering, seek time. Enhanced playback experience, innovative solution for best ad playback success and user experience improvements.

Licenced and integrated customised Chromecast receiver and Download manager solution on the customer’s OTT platform.

Logituit Interactive Platform: Logix Engage Interaction platform is used for the livestream quiz trivia game. The platform allows the creation of trivia game sessions where users can participate by appointment. The trivia show is live-streamed with synchronized game elements and interactions. Users can win cash prizes and virtual currency based on game rules.

Integration Services:

Integration of the players with Native apps, web and all TV platforms with 30+ team size. Logituit was involved in refining the requirements by working closely with the product team.
The key moments feature that allows users to scrub back and watch key moments of a match, event was built and integrated by Logituit. This included integrating third-party SDK Sportz Interactive to fetch the key moments data.
