Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Roku Developer to build and optimize apps for streaming platforms. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Roku apps using BrightScript, focusing on linear video streaming and VOD content.
  • Ensure apps meet Roku certification requirements.
  • Work with RESTful JSON feeds and Git for version control.
  • Optimize performance, security, and follow best coding practices.
  • Utilize Roku UI components like RowList, MarkupGrid, and MarkupList.
  • Collaborate with QA, PMs, and Product Owners for seamless project execution.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Roku app development with BrightScript.
  • Knowledge of design patterns, SceneGraph threads, and optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with Google IMA SDK and player is a plus.
